Formuline 8-Plait downhaul line (aka Formuline-X) manufactured by Marlow from high tensile Dyneema fibers and woven in a coarser 8-plait single braid, 3.8mm in diameter. Formuline 8-Plait works better in rachet style extensions and with shallow cleats that do not hold the smoother Formuline 12-plate line. Formuline has excellent break strength (619 kg) in a mid-weight line (0.89 kg / 100 m). It stays round under load, runs smoothly around pulleys and wears exceptionally well in cleats. This purchase option is for Formuline cut from the roll. It is sold by the meter.
