Opening the kit I thought it was a carbon foil. Everything was packed well and the wings were the exact same Moses-Sabfoil carbon wings I’m used to. The fuselage is the same construction but with a different mast connection, while the mast is aluminum. The kit is easy to put together, and can be set-up with a plate mount or Tuttle head connection. The aluminum 95-790 kit weighs in at a very reasonable 11.5lbs. The comparable 95-790 full carbon kit weighs just under 10lbs.
On the water, the kit felt smooth, easy, and fun. It’s a pleasure to be riding the same carbon Moses-Sabfoil wings on this aluminum kit. I was surprised how close it felt to the carbon mast foils. There was so little difference. The difference I felt was when I really pushed it, the aluminum felt less lively from the mast when compared to my carbon kit.
Pros:
•Comes with carbon wings: W790 front wing (1,550cm²) and S450 stabilizer (326 cm²)
• Popular 95cm mast height - not too short and not too tall
• Huge selection of compatible wing options, larger and smaller, with this fuselage for future upgrades (6 wing options, and more coming)
• Can be purchased as a Tuttle head or track mount plate connection
• Excellent price point
Cons:
• A little less lively than a similar-sized carbon mast Moses-Sabfoil when you really push its performance
• A little bit heavier (1.5 lbs) than a comparable Moses-Sabfoil carbon mast foil
